Girl Scouts WILL be happening this year! Now more than ever, our girls need a time and space for connection, creativity, independence and fun. Girl Scout leaders have been working throughout the summer to imagine different ways that Girl Scouts can take place in our current environment.
Molly Swinney(mkswinney94@gmail.com) will be the school coordinator for Davis Elementary for this year and will be holding information sessions for those that may be interested in joining this year. No commitment is required to attend so please spread the word and invite any friends that you may have in grades K-5 that could be interested in learning more about Girl Scouts in general and what options are available for joining.
Did you know…. you don’t have to join a troop to be in Girl Scouts? We have independent Girl Scouts that participate in Service Unit and Council events, go to camp, and can even sell cookies. There are lots of ways to get the benefits of Girl Scouting beyond the traditional troop.
